Congrats to the Mom and Dad and happy birthday to DrW. (Someone had to come up with a nickname.) Dylan, I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon. Make sure you sleep for long periods of time. Mommy and Daddy need their rest.

My friend Summer back in Italy says to say that she smoked a Cuban in Dylan's honor. Well, she smoked a Cuban, at least. :-)
SO glad all are well, and CAN'T WAIT to meet the littlest suspect. :-)

Welcome to the household, Dylan. As you are the newest arrival, please take some time to familiarize yourself with these existing rules:
1. I am older than you and, therefore, am to be respected at all times.
2. I startle quite easily, so please keep your crying to a muffled whimper or, preferably, none at all.
3. Rule #2 is in double effect during my quiet time nap hours, which is practically always.
4. My cohort will often pester you for attention; you may ignore him at your own peril.
5. Your father will give in to anything with enough pestering; proceed at your earliest convenience.
6. Mommie is very particular about when she will let someone on her lap.
Again, keep these in mind and I'm sure we will have an enjoyable living arrangement.

Congratulations, Kerri and Erik! Happy Birthday, Dylan! You'll learn that September is THE BEST month for a birthday. I say this from (too many, gulp) years of experience. ;-)

Fantastic job Kerri, Erik and Dylan. Loved being there at the labor and birth. Such an honor. Hope all of you are asleep right now -- guess I have way toooooo much energy. It must be the nanna power.
