Visiting with Ani and Grandpa Jim

Trip to Illinois

Dylan's First Plane Flight: He was an angel!!

We stayed with Grandma Betty. It was wonderful.

Grandma Helen loved playing with Dylan. He loved it as well.

Dylan enjoyed talking with Grandpa Chet.

Uncle Larry chatting wit Dylan.

Parker isn't too sure about this holding a baby thing.

Desa, Doug, and Mike came to Grandma Betty's for Thanksgiving.

Mike wasn't too sure about holding Dylan at first, but he warmed up to it quickly.

It snowed while we were there. Dylan wasn't too sure about going out in it. he thought it was too cold.

We all made it home safely. The Friday after Thanksgiving is a great day to fly. O'hare was empty; it was a little weird. We can't wait for a chance to get back and see everyone again!

Two Months Old

Dylan turned two months old earlier this week. He now weighs 12 pounds, 10 ounces and is 23.5 inches long, both in the 75th %ile. He was a trooper for his vaccinations and didn't cry too much. He has slept a lot more today than is normal for him, but he doesn't seem too upset, so life is good. Erik arrived back from France, so Dylan and I officially survived being without Daddy for 4 days. It wasn't as bad as it could have been thanks to help from friends and family.

The three of us are off to Illinois tomorrow to celebrate Thanksgiving with Erik's extended family. I should get some pictures up of the visits after we get back.
